Prevail Boxing proudly announces an intensive week-long journey this May into the world of action filmmaking with Steven Ho, acclaimed stunt professional and lifelong martial artist.
Learn Hero fight techniques and choreography from the legendary martial artist at Prevail Boxing, West Hollywood.
Shoot your own fight scene directed by Steven Ho with his professional stunt team and camera crew in a cinematic alley and parking lot setting.
Your footage will be professionally edited into a 45-90 second personalized action reel for you to showcase to industry professionals and social media. Your final reel will be approximately 1-3 minutes depending on your comfort level with acting and dialogue.
STEP 1: FILM FIGHTING CLASSES AND ACTION SEQUENCE DESIGN (MON, WED, FRI)
Attend up to three 90-minute evening classes with Steven during the week of May 13-19th on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 - 9:30 PM at Prevail Boxing West Hollywood.
These sessions will serve as both instruction and preparation for your upcoming shoot featuring you as the Hero against a professional stunt team. You will learn fight techniques and choreography personalized to your skill level.
No stunt falls or experience required - this program is focused on Hero fighting performances for actors, influencers, stunt players ready for their starring roles, and anyone who has ever been curious about what it takes to be an action Hero.
These classes will not only provide you with valuable insider tips on film fighting but also mimic a similar learning sequence that actors go through for mainstream feature films. Additionally, these classes will lay the groundwork for your weekend shoot, ensuring that you're fully prepared to bring the 45-90 second choreography to life on location when it comes time to roll the camera.
Participation in at least one class is mandatory before your shoot, but participants are encouraged to attend all three sessions.
STEP 2: WEEKEND SHOOT
Your cinematic shoot will take place in the parking lot and alley of Prevail Boxing, West Hollywood either on May 18th or 19th. Steven Ho will personally direct each performance with his professional production and stunt team to capture dynamic 4K footage for your action reel.
Come camera-ready (hair, makeup, wardrobe), or feel free to bring along your own personal beauty team to be part of the crew. You can show up just for your fight scene, or you are welcome to watch and learn while others shoot as well.
STEP 3: POST-PRODUCTION AND EDITING
After the shoot, Steven Ho will oversee all editing to transform your footage into a polished 45-90 second action reel. From scene selection, action cutting, sound fx, to audio enhancement and color grading, we'll ensure your reel reflects the intensity and professionalism of your performance.
STEP 4: FINAL DELIVERY
Receive your finalized action reel digitally, available in 4K for immediate sharing.
