Operations Manager - West Hollywood, CA
Prevail Boxing is looking for a strategic and execution-minded Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day performance and support the scaling of our studios. Reporting to the VP, this role is responsible for leading field operations, managing studio teams, and driving operational excellence across all locations.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in high-growth, high-touch environments – where community matters, excellence is non-negotiable, and there’s no playbook for what comes next.
You’ll work full-time in person at our West Hollywood location, visit our North Hollywood studio weekly, and help launch new locations as we expand across LA.
What You’ll Do
Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple studio locations – ensuring every detail runs smoothly, from front desk to coach management to facility upkeep.
Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Studio Managers and Head Coaches – setting goals, driving accountability, and supporting career growth.
Help design and implement operational systems that scale – including SOPs, training programs, playbooks, scheduling processes, and reporting tools.
Build and track KPIs: membership growth, class utilization, revenue, client retention, team performance, and studio-level P&L.
Own and manage studio budgets – forecast, monitor expenses, and ensure each location is meeting its financial targets.
Support new studio openings – from staffing and training to setup and launch strategy – ensuring a strong ramp and consistent brand experience from day one.
Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling for all positions within your team – ensuring we have the right people in the right roles, fully set up to succeed.
Work with marketing and coaching teams to ensure alignment across initiatives and seamless execution on studio-level strategies.
Regularly spend time in studios to understand team dynamics, client needs, and operational challenges firsthand – using insights to inform improvements.
Proactively identify issues and implement scalable solutions across technology, staffing, scheduling, and experience design.
Lead by example – setting the cultural tone, reinforcing high standards, and embodying our values in how you show up day to day.
What You Bring
4+ years of operational leadership experience, ideally in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or other high-growth, consumer-facing businesses.
Proven success managing teams across multiple locations.
Strong leadership and team development skills – you coach, not just manage.
Systems thinker and operator – you build frameworks that others can run with.
Data-fluent – you track performance, diagnose problems, and push for improvement.
Experienced in managing budgets and owning P&Ls.
Comfortable navigating both strategic planning and on-the-ground execution.
High emotional intelligence – you know how to lead with empathy, adapt your communication style, and build trust across diverse teams.
Passion for community, wellness, and delivering exceptional customer experience.
